Lisa McFarland Damron is a nationally registered emergency medicine technician paramedic. After being employed for several years as a paramedic for Ada County Paramedics in Idaho, she began teaching CPR and basic and advanced life support classes, which is where she found a new passion in sharing her knowledge and helping students feel confident in their life saving skills. She co-founded Idaho CPR Plus, a company offering American Heart Association and American Safety and Health Institute courses with over 200 collective years of experience from the course instructors. Classes are offered to the general public, as well as more advanced classes for health care professionals. Lisa has also partnered with Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine to provide courses for medical students. Lisa’s mission is to “draw upon our experience, skills, and knowledge from real life situations to help students gain their own skills and knowledge and have the confidence to assist someone in need.”
Additionally, Lisa partnered with her friend and female paramedic partner to co-found Satin Serenity, a company that creates the finest-quality satin pillow cases, linens and spa apparel that are found in fine salons, spas, and retail boutiques nationwide. Their products have been featured in numerous magazines, television segments and even used by a USA Presidential family. Her passion is to offer desirable beauty products that have benefited her and several generations of her family by using high-quality material and showcasing the benefits of satin in everyday use.
