Dr. Jennifer Reid is a board-certified psychiatrist and award-winning medical educator, practicing in the Philadelphia area. She additionally teaches medical residents in her role as clinical faculty at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Reid writes her own blog as The Reflective Doc and is a contributor to Psychology Today with her blog, “Think Like a Shrink.” She is the host of the podcast, The Reflective Doc, where she shares information about mental health, and interviews health care providers, coaches, and other helpers to highlight their work and provide support and information to her listeners. Her journey to becoming a writer and podcast host was inspired by her amazing and hilarious friend, Dr. John Kelleher, also a psychiatrist whom she met during her training. He died in 2020 after a battle with brain cancer, and will remain forever an inspiration to live with joy and courage.
