Dr. Erkeda DeRouen is a triple board certified physician, specializing in Family, Lifestyle and Diversity Medicine. She works to help patients live the life they were intended to live by advocating for wellness and healthcare equity. She specializes in crafting conversations that address a variety of topics ranging from workplace leadership, self-empowerment, health equity and diversity in medicine.
She hosts a weekly podcast, the Prospective Doctor, geared towards pre-medical and medical students focusing on hot topics in healthcare. Additionally, she is a co-author of an anthology series highlighting women in medicine and also has a book chapter coming out in 2022 on how to navigate using telemedicine.
