As a Marriage Family Therapist specializing in attachment-based therapy, Susan is passionate about providing therapy for individuals and couples to help repair, reconnect and rejuvenate their relationships. Her degrees include a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Social Action in addition to holding a Masters of Art in Counseling Psychology. Susan’s specialty is working with high-conflict couples and couples that are experiencing lack of intimacy in their relationships. She incorporates evidence-based interventions to customize therapy to each person’s specific set of needs, unique personality and temperament to achieve outstanding results. She has over nine years of clinical experience counseling individuals, couples, families and groups using the below methods:
Susan is a member of the American Association of Marriage Family Therapists (AAMFT) and a Chairman of the Idaho Chapter of the AMFT. With her extensive training and continuous education in her field, she is passionate about learning and incorporating the newest findings in her practice. She has an emphasis on mind/body wellness and focuses on understanding her clients’ inhibitive mindset (barriers/blocks) to being motivated in order to help them achieve their emotional, mental and physical health goals.
